Opinion: Why Digital Literacy Matters Now
As both digital services and online fraud rise, a discussion on the importance of digital literacy.

As mobile banking, online shopping, and even government services move to digital platforms, technology's role in daily life keeps growing. But so does the risk of online fraud and misinformation.
Digital literacy needs to become an integral part of the curriculum from school level onward. Community training programs would also help adult and elderly citizens navigate digital services safely.
This goal cannot be achieved without a joint effort from government, the private sector, and civil society. Investment in digital literacy is, in effect, an investment in future safety.
